Name: Keela
Age: approx. 3 years
Gender: Female
Breed: African Wild dog (You guys did say any canine...)
Appearance: Keela stands upon four stilt like legs. Her ears are large and round with tuffs of white fur in them. A compact yet sleek body is covered in mottled brown, black, white, and tan/yellow spots. This gives her a very exotic appearance. Her eyes are a dark brown-yellow color. Her short thin tail has longer white hairs at the end that flail out when her tail is raised. Keela's face is rather narrow and filled with sharp teeth.
Personality: More of the strong silent type, Keela rarely talks. And when she does, her thick accent shows itself and it can cause some miscommunication between her and others. Slow to anger and slow to get along with, Keela tries to be as neutral as possible when it comes to conflicts.
Although, she takes things very seriously, this is not to say that she dislikes others. On the contrary, Keela works best in a pack setting. This is thanks to her Wild dog heritage, which are infamous for their ability to coordinate in their attacks to bring down prey.
If there is anything that she seeks, it is a strong and consistent leader.
Roleplay Sample: The foreign dog took in her surrounds through round dirty yellow orbs. There were trees that were higher than her eyes could follow. No matter how much she strained her neck, she could not see the canopy up above.
Keela pawed at the half rotted leaves under her paws. The dirt below was blackened and moist. No doubt from the rains that had passed over a few days ago. Her tall thin legs maneuvered their way through the twigs, sticks and debris of the forest floor. A paw passed over a small rock and she froze to the sound of moving vegetation. No doubt lingered in her mind that an animal was nearby.
Her body inched forward as her paws were wary of what path they took. Her muscles froze as she spotted a gray hare off in the distance. Her satellite ears rotated froward as her eyes locked onto her target. The rabbit's black stood on its hind legs, Keela lowered her head and tail. Her grumbling stomach was causing problems for her now. Keela's paw stopped its descent to the ground, making her stop in a pointer like stance. Her pelt was terrible camouflage for this type of setting. The splotches of colors ranging from black to brown to white made her stand out against the green and brown of the forest.
Overeager to have a kill in her empty stomach caused her to go against her will to stay hidden and risked another step to the hare's perceptive nature. A blackened hind paw landed on a tiny branch, causing the slightest of breaks. Keela grumbled as she watched the hare dart away. Another day of hunger pains ahead of her, Keela moved her paws to a dull pace and wondered when her next meal was to spring away from her.
